
Warriors Sign 2021 Draft Pick Owen Berge

The Moose Jaw Warriors are pleased to announce the signing of forward Owen Berge to a Western Hockey League standard player agreement.
Berge was selected by the Warriors in the third round, 57th overall, in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
"We are excited to add Owen Berge to our program," Warriors General Manager Jason Ripplinger said.
The Edmonton, AB product put together a stellar season with the Northern Alberta Xtreme U16 prep team, tallying 27 goals, 36 assists and 63 points in 36 games.
Berge, a five-foot-11, 174-pound centre, also picked up a goal and two points in three games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme U18 prep team this season.
"Owen brings scoring, great hockey sense to go along with a high compete level," Ripplinger said.
With Berge's commitment to the Warriors and the Western Hockey League, Moose Jaw has now signed its top four picks from December's 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
"Adding Owen gives us more depth in our 2006 group," Ripplinger stated. "We look forward watching the rest of our 06 group grow together."
Berge joins defencemen Marek Howell and Brady Ness, and forward Lynden Lakovic, who have already signed from the Warriors' draft.
