
Warriors Dust the Desert Dogs 19-16

VANCOUVER BC - The Vancouver Warriors erupted for eight first quarter goals and withstood a stubborn Las Vegas Desert Dogs team to post their first win of the season, 19-16 before 8483 fans at a raucous Rogers Arena on College Night.
The Warriors spread the scoring all around on this night, with three players, Mitch Jones (2g-6a), Shawn Evans (3g-5a) and Keegan Bal (5g-3a) all posting eight-point nights.
Vancouver also had a four-goal evening from Kyle Killen, Chase Scanlan scored his first two goals as a pro, Logan Schuss scored twice and added three assists and Adam Charalambides also scored as every forward for the Warriors managed to light the lamp.
Aden Walsh earned his first win as a pro, making 37 saves.
Vancouver moves out of the Western Conference cellar with their first win of the season and will look to double up on the Desert Dogs next week in Sin City. Game time will be at 6:30 PM PST and can be seen on TSN.ca.
The Vancouver Warriors will next be home on Saturday, January 28th when they host the Panther City Lacrosse Club and First Nations Celebration. Game time is at 7 PM.
