SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors (21-21) enjoyed their first wire-to-wire victory this season over the Memphis Hustle (17-27), 132-120, in front of the 51st sold out crowd tonight at Kaiser Permanente Arena. Two-way guard Quinn Cook led both teams with 41 points and 10 assists, tying his best scoring performance this season.

Warriors guard Jeremy Pargo led the team in assists for the fourth straight game, dishing 10 to pair with 23 points on 10-of-14 from the field. Golden State Warriors rookie forward Jordan Bell, assigned to his first game in Santa Cruz, had 14 points on 7-of-9 from the field, six rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes. Guard Damion Lee once again had a standout performance off the bench, notching 18 points, six rebounds and a season-best five steals.

All five Hustle starters scored at least 14 points tonight, with forward Omari Johnson and guard Dusty Hannahs leading the way with 22 points apiece with five and six made threes, respectively. Also contributing to the team's impressive 19-of-36 shooting performance from behind the arc (52.8 percent) was forward Jeremy Morgan going 4-of-6 from three for 19 points. Veteran guard Marquis Teague added 20 points and a team-high nine assists.

Santa Cruz tipped off the game with a 12-0 run and maintained an early rhythm by scoring 20 points in the paint, compared to just six for Memphis, to take a 33-25 first quarter lead. Cook and Lee dominated the second with eight points each to keep the game in hand, but Memphis shot 60.0 percent from behind the arc (6-10 3FG) in the quarter, including four threes to go on a 14-4 run, to complete a competitive first half.

Golden State center Damian Jones opened the third quarter with eight points on four quick dunks, and Cook had a season-best 24 second-half points on 6-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc to secure the win. The Warriors scored at least 30 points in each quarter for the first time in 2017-18 and shot a season-best 61.7 percent from the field (50-of-81 FG).
