
Wardogs announce radio and TV plans

Columbus Wardogs News Release
Columbus, GA - WRLD-FM Radio (Boomer 95.3) and WCGT TV 16 are returning as the flagship radio and TV station for the Columbus Wardogs in 2004.
Boomer 95.3 FM will carry all 16 regular season games live beginning 30-minutes before kickoff. The first broadcast is Saturday, April 10 when the Wardogs open the regular season on the road against the Wilkes-Barre (PA) Pioneers.
Boomer 95.3 FM will also serve as the home of the weekly John Fourcade Show every Monday during the season from 7:00 to 8:00pm ET. The first show is scheduled for Monday, April 5.
The first five installments of the John Fourcade Show will originate from the Mellow Mushroom at 6100 Veterans Parkway (April 5 â May 3). The next five shows will be broadcast from Glory Days Sports Bar & Grill at 3846 St. Mary's Road (May 10 â June 7). The final eight shows will originate from Smokey Bones BBQ at 5555-G Whittlesey Boulevard (June 14 â August 2).
WCGT TV 16 will televise ten games this season on tape delay, including two road games. In addition to all eight home games, WCGT TV 16 will carry the Wardogs' road games at Birmingham (April 23) and Macon (May 15). The game broadcasts will air on Monday nights at 8:00pm ET, except for the Wardogs' home game versus Florida on Monday, July 26. That game will be shown on Tuesday, July 27. WCGT TV 16 is carried on all local cable systems.
