Durham, NC- The Northern League has announced that Adirondack Lumberjack OF Juan LeBron has received the League's Player of the Week honors for the first week of July. In addition, the Lumberjacks Chad Ward was named the League's Pitcher of the Week for the week ending July 14.

LeBron has torn up the Northern League since joining the Lumberjacks last month. "I am very happy that both Chad and Juan were recognized for their accomplishments. These guys have produced every week for us and I look to them to play a major role in our playoff run," stated Jacks General Manager Curt Jacey.

It is the first time this season a Lumberjack has received Player of the Week, but it is the third time a Lumberjack pitcher has received Pitcher of the Week honors; the second time this season for Chad Ward.
