GF BLASTS OSPREY

The Voyagers hit a season-high six homers Monday on their way to a 12-4 win at Missoula. Zach Fish got things started for Great Falls, hitting a three-run shot as part of a six-run first. Dillon Haupt and Patrick Palmeiro went back-to-back with solo shots in both the fifth and ninth innings, becoming the first Voyagers to hit back-to-back homers this year and also the first to collect multi-homer games in 2014. Toby Thomas also homered for Great Falls, adding a solo shot in the seventh inning.

GONE FISHIN'

After homering in last night's first inning, Voyager outfielder Zach Fish has now homered in three straight games, after going his first 25 career games without one. The former Oklahoma State Cowboy has also collected multiple hits in each of those games, helping to raise his average 54 points to .238 over the last three days. Fish also brought in three runs last night, which set a new career-high.

DIGGIN' THE LONG BALL

With their season-high six homers in last night's win over Missoula, Great Falls boosted their team total to 41, two shy of Orem's league-leading total of 43. The Voyagers have now hit at least one home run in eight straight games, with 16 long balls hit over that span. Dillon Haupt has been one of the biggest providers of the homers recently, hitting four in four games on this road trip and five in his last six games overall. Haupt is now tied with Chevy Clarke for the team lead with seven home runs.

FREUD ON THE HILL

Great Falls will send lefty Chris Freudenberg to the hill tonight to make his ninth start. The southpaw is tied with Dane Stone for the team lead in quality starts with five, and with an earned run average of 2.70, trails only Stone for the league's best ERA (2.08). In one previous outing against Missoula this year, Freudenberg gave up a run in five innings with a season-high seven strikeouts on June 27.
