Vote for Gregore: Gregore's 2022 MLS All-Star Case
June 28, 2022 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Inter Miami CF News Release
Inter Miami's Gregore continues to be the team's rock in the middle. The Brazilian has consistently anchored the team's midield, proving to be one of the league's most reliable defensive midfielders in the league. With fan voting set to close this Friday, July 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT (July 2 at 2:59 a.m. ET), we will make the case for Gregore to shine alongside the league's other stars at the 2022 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target in Minnesota this August.
Midfield Anchor
Gregore has been at his combative best in 2022, constantly challenging the opposition out of possession. This has manifested itself in a number of areas for the midfielder, beginning with pressures. Notably, he currently sits fifth in MLS in pressures per match with 44.4 per Second Spectrum, never giving opponents too much time on the ball uncontested.
He also tops Inter Miami in a number of categories, including tackles and duels. His 27 tackles are good for 12th in MLS, and his 198 duels are good for ninth in the league.
Leading On and Off the Pitch
Gregore's impact also extends beyond his play, as the Brazilian has proven to be an instrumental part of Inter Miami's locker room as captain. Inter Miami's 2021 MVP took over the captain's armband during the 2021 MLS season, sparking the team's best run of the year and has continued to grow in the role in 2022.

He has been ever-present in the team, starting in all 14 matches he's been available for selection in, and worn the captain's armband in every one.
We encourage all our fans to cast their votes for Gregore while they still can! After the first returns of All-Star fan voting, the midfielder was in the top 10 among defensive midfielders.
All fans can vote on MLSSoccer.com/vote or via the MLS App, and every fan has the unique opportunity to share their picks on social media.
