Miami FC News Release
MIAMI, Fla. - The Miami FC is nominated for NASL Play of the Week for a second straight week. The Miami FC scored four beautiful goals against Minnesota United last week but the build up to Poku's finish may have been the best of the bunch.
Captain Jonathan Borrajo sent a great long ball from deep in his own half to spark a counter attack. The ball found Dario Cvitanich who flicked the ball on with a perfecet dummy run, allowing the ball to roll past the Minnesota defense and on to the feet of a streaking Poku.
Poku picked up the ball just outside the box and easily dribbled past the keeper for the easy finish.
Borrajo collected three assists on the night while Poku's goal was his third of the fall season.
The Miami FC is back in action, Saturday, August 13 when they host, cross-town rivals, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the final match of the 2016 FL Clásico. Get your tickets now: click here!
