New Orleans VooDoo News Release
CHICAGO (June 7, 2012) - The New Orleans VooDoo game versus the Orlando Predators on Friday, June 22 has been flexed to the NET10 NFL Network Game of the Week, announced the league front office on Thursday afternoon.
"When Orlando traveled to New Orleans in Week 11, it was one of our stronger television ratings of the season," AFL Commissioner Jerry Kurz said. "It appears that our fans are very interested in watching Head Coach Pat O'Hara take on his former team."
The VooDoo's appearance on the NFL Network marks the fifth time this season, which is the most this season by any team in the AFL. In 2011, the VooDoo appeared on the NFL Network three times in The Graveyard, which was the only home venue chosen more than twice.
Kickoff for the Week 16 matchup is set for 7 p.m. CT.
