VooDoo to hold final tryouts for 2005 VooDoo Dolls

The New Orleans VooDoo will hold final tryouts for their official dance team, the New Orleans VooDoo Dolls, on Thursday, December 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the New Orleans Centre. The public are welcome to attend the final audition session and selections for the squad of 20 dancers.
The team held a preliminary tryout on Saturday, December 4, where a large turnout of potential VooDoo Dolls was pared down to 40 finalists. After being introduced at the Saints-Panthers game on December 5, the prospective dancers have been practicing several routines for the final audition on Thursday evening. The final competition will be held in the Center Court of the New Orleans Centre (adjacent to the Louisiana Superdome at Poydras and LaSalle St. The final selections will be announced after the audition. The 2005 New Orleans VooDoo Dolls dance team will be publicly introduced at the Saints-Atlanta game on December 26.
