LEWISTON, ME -- Jonathan Brunelle's two third period goals helped lead the Drummondville Voltigeurs to 5-1 victory over the Lewiston MAINEiacs Saturday night in front of a crowd of 2,844 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Lewiston trailed 1-0 in the second period until Alex Beaton scored his sixth goal of the season at 1:30, to tie the game. Drummondville took the lead on the power play in the early seconds of the third, when Gabriel Dumont scored in front of the net. Drummondville would not look back, rattling off three more goals the rest of the way out to take the win 5-1.

Despite the loss, the MAINEiacs and Mid Coast Hospital put together a great night to raise awareness about breast cancer. Money was also raised through jersey raffles, ticket sales, and auctioned items for the American Cancer Society's " Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, " which will take place Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in Brunswick.

Lewiston will hit the road for a pair of divisional games. On Thursday the MAINEiacs will face Victoriaville, while taking on Shawinigan on Friday. The next MAINEiacs home games are scheduled for October 30 and 31 against Val-d'Or. Tickets may be purchased at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee box office, or by dialing (207) 783-2009.
