
Breast Cancer Awareness Game In Baie-Comeau

BOUCHERVILLE, Saturday, October 17, 2009 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced that following an untimely error by the shipping company in the delivery of the pink jerseys in Baie-Comeau, that new initiatives have been created to promote the fight against breast cancer during the game on Sunday.
"The Drakkar have taken a difficult situation and transformed it into an event which will benefit the fight against breast cancer," said the Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau. "The organization and the players deserve all of the credit for setting up this initiative. The QMJHL will support the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in their quest to maximize the success of the event. The pink jerseys will be handed out at a later date."
