Toronto, Ont. (Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007) - The St. Michael's Majors 10th anniversary jersey auction continues at www.stmichaelsmajors.com. The item featured this week is a vintage jersey worn by former sniper Cory Vitarelli with the bidding closing at 12 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.

Vitarelli played four seasons with the Majors, compiling career stats of 102 goals and 91 assists in 254 games. During his last season with the team (2005-06), Cory achieved career highs of 42 goals and 36 assists. He is now a member of the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers.

A big weekend lies ahead for the Majors as they visit the London Knights tomorrow (Friday) night at 7:30 p.m. Then, they return home to entertain Evan Brophey, Daniel Ryder and the West Division-leading Plymouth Whalers on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. It will be a special day at St. Michael's Arena as Latvian Day is celebrated in honor of current Majors players Kaspars Daugavins and Kriss Grundmanis. A strong Latvian presence should be felt by one and all.
