
Vijil re-signs with the Shock

The Spokane Shock announced today that WR/DB Raul Vijil has been assigned to the 2007 roster by the league office.
Vijil is the third player from the 2006 ArenaCup Championship roster to resign with the team joining OL/DL Jerome Stevens and OL/DL Rico Ochoa.
During the regular season, Vijil scored 22 touchdowns (rushing and receiving) and added three touchdowns in the post season. He was third on the team in total points and amassed 752 all-purpose yards during the regular season.
"In our offense, Raul has a chance to be a top receiver in this league," Head Coach Adam Shackleford explained. "We're going to look to get him the football in critical situations this year. He has great hands, great ability and more importantly he has great character."
Shackleford's roster now stands at nine players signed under contract. The Shock will begin their quest to defend the Championship on Saturday, March 31st as they host the Stockton Lightning. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 509 242 7462.
