Alabama Vipers News Release

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Tennessee Valley Vipers coach Milt Theodosatos has announced that Vipers assistant John Noel will return for the 2007 season and serve as the team's offensive line and fullbacks coach.

In addition, the Vipers have been assigned former Alabama A&M standout Travoris Nunn, Marist College defensive specialist David Snell and returning defensive specialist Andre Letren, who played in four late-season games for the Vipers in '06.

Theodosatos said that Noel - a teacher and assistant football coach at Westminster - proved his worth last season as fullbacks and linebackers coach.

"John was with us last season and I'm glad to have him back,'' Theodosatos said. "He's very knowledgeable and I'm sure he'll do a great job."

Nunn (5-foot-11, 234 pounds) has previous Huntsville indoor experience and closed out a fine career with the Bulldogs in '02, earning All-SWAC honors at linebacker and finishing with 49 tackles, five sacks and three fumble recoveries as a senior.

Snell (5-10, 180) played high school football for Theodosatos in Madison, N.J., and transferred from Lehigh University to Marist in '04. He served as team captain in '05 and finished his career with 67 tackles, four interceptions and 16 pass breakups.

Letren had 22 tackles, one interception and seven pass breakups in only four starts for Tennessee Valley last season.

"Andre finished up the season in great fashion and was super, especially in our win at Birmingham,'' Theodosatos said. "Snell played for me on a state championship team and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do down here after a great collegiate career.

"Nunn is local guy and he looks like he's going to be a great player. He comes to us with great credentials and recommendations, and he looked sharp at our workout back in December."
