
Victoria Seals Set to Take on the Toros

Victoria, BC - Returning to Royal Athletic Park for the longest homestand of the year, the Victoria Seals open a four-game series against the Tucson Toros on Thursday evening. All eyes will be on Seals shortstop Wilver Perez, who is hot in pursuit of the Golden Baseball League single-season stolen base record.
Game one of the series is also Coca-Cola Cowbell Night at the ballpark, when the Toros and Seals clash at 7:05 p.m. (PT). The first 1,000 fans in the door will receive a limited edition noisemaker to help back the Seals in the series opener, and cheer on Perez who is two stolen bases away from history at Royal Athletic Park.
Another installment of Flight Centre Fly Away Friday headlines game two of the series, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. (PT). One lucky fan will win a trip for two to Vancouver and be entered into the Grand Prize season-ending draw of a tropical getaway for two courtesy of WestJet!
Saturday night marks game three between Tucson and Victoria, with the Seals in the hunt for a second-half Division Championship and the first playoff berth in franchise history. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. (PT).
Thrifty Foods Family Sunday plays host to game four of the series, which also marks Coca-Cola Team Poster Giveaway Day at 1:35 p.m. (PT). The first 1,000 fans to arrive will get a limited edition Victoria Seals team poster, and can stick around to get it autographed after the game! Join us for a matinee series finale when the kids can run the bases with Seamore, meet their favourite Seals and get fresh-baked cookies on the field post-game!
