Victor Defeats Adirondack in PGBL Matchup

A magnificent effort by Mitch Patishall carried the Victor RailRiders (5-4) to a 7-2 win over the Adirondack Trail Blazers (4-8) on Thursday at Robert Smith Sports Complex .

Patishall kept contact to a minimum, striking out 12 the Adirondack Trail Blazers batters. The Victor RailRiders' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only five hits.

Evan Fernandez paced the Victor RailRiders at the plate. Fernandez went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Brad Jones had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second and ninth innings.

Jason Martin (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out none.
