The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced today that they have re-signed defensive back LaDouphyous McCalla. Details of the contract were not released.
McCalla is entering his fifth season with the Green and White. The cornerback led a Riders secondary that allowed the fewest passing touchdowns in the CFL.
The 28-year old recorded 44 defensive tackles, three special teams tackles, four pass knockdowns, and one interception while playing in 16 regular season games.
On top of his defensive skills, McCalla chipped in on special teams returning 13 punts for 166 yards and returned five missed field goals for 117 yards.

CAREER: Started 18 games at corner in 2000...WEEK 1 was first CFL game...first game as a Roughrider...had season high five defensive tackles in WEEK 10 vs BC...raced 31 yards for first career touchdown on interception during Labour Day against Winnipeg...member of Dallas Cowboys training camp...released prior to the start of the regular season.
