Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes and TELUS invite fans to exchange their number "eight" Vernon Adams Jr. jersey in return for a number "three" jersey free of charge. The event will take place on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 11 a.m., at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
At the end of the Alouettes' practice, quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. and his teammates will take the opportunity to meet the fans.
Always keeping its "We give where we live" philosophy in mind, TELUS will contribute $5,000 to Toujours ensemble, an organization that helps youth at school, family, economic and social levels through educational and recreational activities in order to help develop their potential. For each jersey redeemed, TELUS will also donate $5 to Toujours ensemble.
All jerseys brought back will be turned into capes and given by Vernon Adams Jr. to teenagers supported by the organization.
These youth will then be invited by TELUS and the Alouettes on Monday, October 10, 2022 to attend the Thanksgiving game as the Alouettes take on the Ottawa REDBLACKS at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
The Alouettes store will be open on site to allow fans to wear the team's colours and be ready for the new 2022 season!
It will be possible to park at the Transat Tour in front of the stadium.
Those unable to travel on this day have the opportunity to complete a form to pick up their new jersey on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the Alouettes' local game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
