
Vermont Expos Rained Out

ONEONTA, NY --- The Vermont Expos and Oneonta Tigers New York-Penn League game Saturday night was postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday evening.
It was the fourth time in the last 10 days that the Expos have been postponed due to rain. Vermont has played just 6 games, including a doubleheader loss to Tri-City on Friday, over the last 10 days.
The Expos will now have two doubleheaders over the next six days with the twinbill at Oneont on Sunday and a doubleheader with Tri-City at Centennial Field this coming Friday. Vermont also has a doubleheader with Lowell scheduled for Setember 2nd, meaning the Expos will play four doubleheaders (including last night) in the final 16 days of the season.
