Vegas Knight Hawks Announce Plans for Henderson Heroes Knight in Partnership with City of Henderson

HENDERSON - The Vegas Knight Hawks announced today plans for Henderson Heroes Knight, where the team will shine a spotlight on Henderson residents who are making an impact in the community. Henderson Heroes Knight will take place this Friday, May 10 when the Knight Hawks take on the San Diego Strike Force at 7 p.m. PT at Lee's Family Forum. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a custom Knight Hawks-themed comic book designed by local artist Jean Munson . $2 beer and margaritas will be available at bars throughout the arena.

The Knight Hawks will honor 18 exemplary community members during the game. Honorees represent the following categories: Henderson Police Department, Henderson Fire Department, healthcare, active military, veterans, education, sports and recreation, nonprofit/civic association organizations, municipal volunteer or employee/government, and local business. All 18 individuals were nominated by their peers, and selected by the Vegas Knight Hawks business staff. Those chosen as 2024 Henderson Heroes will receive recognition during the game, an opportunity to share their story, and special gifts from various partners such as WOW Car Wash, Koibito Poke, Texas Road House, Rollin' Smoke, and more.

Additionally, Knight Hawks players will wear Henderson Heroes themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. To participate in the auction, fans can visit VKHHeroes.givesmart.com or text " VKHHeroes " to 76278 . The auction will begin at 5:45 p.m. PT and conclude at 9 p.m. PT that evening. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Henderson Fire Department and Henderson Police Department foundations.
