Wednesday's game will be the Sky's second meeting against the Sun this season after winning the first matchup 83-79 June 10 at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Sun is coming off a win against Atlanta on Sunday and remains the No. 2 ranked team in the Eastern Conference. This game will feature two recently-named 2022 All-Star starters, the Sun's Jonquel Jones and the Sky's Candace Parker. Jones is a team leader in scoring, rebounds, and blocks. She averages 14.6 points shooting 51.5% from field goal range, 9.1 rebounds, and 1 block per game. The Sky will look to defend its No. 1 ranking in the East against Connecticut.
