Vancouver Warriors Announce Broadcast Agreement with Rogers Sportsnet

VANCOUVER BC - The Vancouver Warriors of the National Lacrosse League are pleased to announce that they have reached a broadcast agreement with Rogers Sportsnet to broadcast the remainder of the 2019 Vancouver Warriors regular season and playoff schedule on Sportsnet 650, plus expanded coverage including online content and a weekly lacrosse show.

Content will include 'Warriors in 30', a weekly 30-minute action packed version of the previous week's game on Sportsnet Pacific. Home and away games will be broadcast both on Sportsnet 650 and online plus on air and online content at sportsnet.ca/650.

"Partnering with Rogers Sportsnet is a bonus for all new and dedicated lacrosse fans across the Province of British Columbia," comments Canucks Sports and Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Trent Carroll. "To be able to get expanded Vancouver Warriors content out through our relationship with Rogers Sportsnet and their many platforms will be great for everyone. Hopefully, this will also entice fans to come downtown to experience one of our games."

Warriors home games will continue to be called by the NLL.com team of Brandon Astle and Brad Challoner, while Vancouver's road games and the 'Warriors Weekly' lacrosse show will be broadcast by long time Vancouver sports host Dave Sheldon.
