
Valour FC Signs Defender Tony Mikhael

WINNIPEG, MB. - Valour FC today announce that the club has signed Canadian defender Tony Mikhael for the 2021 season.
Mikhael, 21, joins Valour FC after being drafted by the club with their second pick, 14th overall in the 2021 CPL U-Sports Draft.
"We are pleased to offer Tony a contract," said Head Coach & GM Rob Gale "He's a player with a lot of potential and upside and has blended well with the group. We're looking forward to developing his game this season in a first-team professional setting."
The defender joined the Carleton Ravens in 2018 following a successful youth career, including a 2017 Canada Summer Games gold medal and Ontario Cup championship.
In March 2021, Mikhael was selected to the U-23 Lebanon national team camp, making an appearance in a friendly against Bahrain.
