WINNIPEG, MB. - Valour FC today announce the team has signed Ghana international Solomon Kojo Antwi to a contract.
Antwi, 19, joins Valour FC from the Glow Lamp Academy in Ghana where he has been a top youth prospect for a number of years.
"Solomon is a player that we identified in in last summer's transfer window, and we are delighted that the visa process and contracts are now finalized," said Valour FC Head Coach & GM Rob Gale. "As a U-20 Ghanaian international and at just 19 years of age, he has huge potential that we hope we can help him realize in Winnipeg."
The winger was offered his first professional contract by K.A.A Gent (Belgian Pro League) in February of 2019 but due to complications securing a visa, was not able to sign. At the national level, Antwi has played with the Ghana U-20 team, with his last invite received in July 2019.
