
Valour FC Sign American Defender Jonathan Esparza

WINNIPEG, MB. - Valour FC today announce that the club has signed American defender Jonathan Esparza.
Esparza, 22, joins Valour FC from the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (USL League One) where he made 24 appearances totalling 1,596 minutes played in 2021.
In 2018, the defender joined Club Tijuana (Liga MX), where he made nine appearances and totaled 810 minutes played on loan with Oaxaca (Ascenso MX). In 2019, Esparza was loaned from Club Tijuana to Celaya FC (Copa MX), where he made five appearances totalling 450 minutes played.
Internationally, the defender was named to the U.S. U-18 Men's National Team roster for the 2017 Slovakia Cup.
