Valour FC Announces Signing of Portuguese Midfielder Diogo Ressurreição

WINNIPEG, MB. - Valour FC today announce that the club has signed Portuguese midfielder Diogo Ressurreição
Ressurreição, 23, previously signed a contract to play with Vitória de Guimarães, a top-flight, Portuguese professional football club based in Guimarães.
"Diogo is a player we had observed before going to Portugal and had the chance to see him live while on our trip there" said Head Coach & General Manager Phillip Dos Santos. "He has experience playing for top Portuguese Clubs (Porto and Guimarães B), with good passing ability, strong between lines and very unpredictable. We like the versatility he can bring to our attack."
Ressurreição's career has taken him to a variety of clubs in Portugal including FC Porto B located in Pedroso, Portugal and Sociedade União 1° Dezembro located in Sintra, Portugal.
In 2022, the midfielder made 10 appearances for FC Porto B, scoring one goal, and playing 159 minutes.
