
Valor Sign Veteran TT Toliver, 12 Others for Training Camp

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Valor announced today the signings of 13 players to the team's training camp roster, which now stands at 26 players. Today's signings include veteran wide receiver TT Toliver, defensive lineman Lanford "JR" Collins and kicker Pat Clarke.
Toliver has played 15 years in the Arena Football League with stints in Tampa Bay, Nashville, Orlando and last season in Washington. Toliver is the AFL's all-time career leader in receptions (1,241) and receiving yards (16,293) and ranks third in career receiving touchdowns (314), trailing second by 11 scores. Last season with the Valor, Toliver caught 36 passes for 495 yards and 11 touchdowns, which tied for second on the team. In Week 16 against the Baltimore Brigade, Toliver hauled in six passes for 113 yards and three touchdowns, all season highs.
Collins appeared in eight games for the Valor in 2017, registering 10 solo tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and two blocked kicks. In his four seasons at Virginia Tech, Collins totaled 164 tackles, 17.5 sacks and 78 quarterback hits.
Clarke was named Second Team All-Arena for his performance with the Baltimore Brigade last season, converting 81-93 (.870) extra point attempts and 3-4 (.750) field goals. The Buffalo alumnus was a perfect 8-8 on extra point attempts on two occasions, Week 6 against Philadelphia and Week 15 against Tampa Bay.

The 2018 Valor regular season, presented by MedStar Health, kicks off with the Valor's matchup against the Baltimore Brigade on Fri., April 13 at 7 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. The Valor's home opener is set for Week 2, when Washington welcomes the Albany Empire, playing in their inaugural season, to Capital One Arena on Sat., April 21 at 7 p.m.
