March 23, 2018 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Philadelphia Soul News Release

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Soul today announce that the Arena Football League has assigned Wide Receiver Darius "Money" Reynolds to the 2018 roster.

One of the most productive players on the field and recognizable faces off of it, Reynolds returns for his sixth season in the AFL and third with the Soul. In 2017, he tallied an impressive 84 receptions for 1,272 yards and 35 touchdowns leading the Soul to its second straight ArenaBowl Championship

This came after Reynolds totaled 112 receptions for 1,447 yards and 38 touchdowns during the 2016 season, which gained him a tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles. That season he made the game-winning catch against the Jacksonville Sharks in the AFL American Conference Championship game, sending the Soul to another ArenaBowl.

"Darius is a special player," said Soul Head Coach Clint Dolezel. "He's not only talented, but he's one of the toughest guys on the field which then earns him the respect of both his teammates and opponents."

Reynolds attended Iowa State University and finished his career there with 81 receptions, 1,050 yards and 9 touchdowns. Prior to joining the Soul, Reynolds spent time with the Iowa Barnstormers, where he was named Second Team All-Arena, and the San Jose Sabercats.
