Albany Empire to Begin Training Camp Monday

ALBANY- The Albany Empire assigned 35 players to the roster in the first week of free agency as the team prepares to open training camp on Monday, March 26. Empire training camp will take place at Afrim's Sports at the Colonie and Latham locations as the team gears up for it's inaugural season.
Players will report today, Friday, March 23 for physicals, with the first practice starting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26 at Afrim's in Colonie (636 Albany Shaker Rd., Albany). The first two days of camp with be non-contact, with Wednesday, March 28 being the first padded practice.
The 2018 training camp roster will consist of 35 players, plus invitees, who will compete for 24 spots on the opening day roster. Final rosters must be turned into the League office by 5:00 PM ET on Sunday, April 8.
All training camp practices are open to both the public and the media.
The Empire begins their inaugural season at home against the two-time defending champions, Philadelphia Soul on Saturday, April 14 at 7 p.m.
