Valley Discount Metals to sponsor Silverados

Art Gonzalez, co-owner of the 2007 ABA expansion Rio Grande Valley Silverados today announced that Valley Discount Metals has purchased it's "steel" package for the 2007-2008 season - and that every steal that occurs in a game will have a PA announcement saying - "that steal brought to you by Valley Discount Metals, the leader in steel buildings in the Valley." Valley Discount Metals has been serving the Rio Grande Valley since 1982. According to Gonzalez, "The owner is Lamar Strong who has been a personal friend and business friend for five years. His company specializes in metal building components and steel material items. Lamar has been very supportive and we deeply appreciate having his involvement in the team.
