
Utah Selects Kick off Season on Friday

HERRIMAN, Utah - The Utah Selects 2023 season will officially begin this Friday, March 31. The Selects will play their opening match against Haggis at 2 p.m. MT at Zions Bank Stadium. Over the remainder of the MLR season, the Selects will play at Zions Bank Stadium prior to each of the scheduled Warriors home matches.
Following their match against Haggis, the Selects will face Seattle RFC on April 15, the Chicago Griffins on May 6, Rhino Rugby Academy on May 20, All-Marines/Navy on May 27 and Roots on June 10.
Spectators are welcome, however, due to stadium security policies, Selects spectators will need to exit and re-enter the stadium before the Warriors match if they plan to attend.
The Utah Selects serves as the Warriors' stated minor-league developmental team, preparing rugby players who show potential to graduate to the Warriors MLR squad. This year, the Selects season will be played in conjunction with the MLR season, with the Selects playing their home games just prior to the Warriors'.
