Utah Royals FC Returns Home to Face Winless Orlando Pride

SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC returns home to Rio Tinto Stadium to take on the Orlando Pride for the second time this season on Saturday, May 25 at 6:00 p.m. MT.

Since Sunday, DF Rachel Corsie has departed Utah to head East to begin preparations with Scotland for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. The squad will face Jamaica in a final tuneup on May 28 just before the tournament begins. In addition, MF Desiree Scott and the Canadian National Team will take on Spain in their final match on Friday in anticipation for the festivities in France.

Sunday's match versus Orlando will serve as the last for DF Katie Bowen with Royals FC before she too heads to France with New Zealand for the WWC.

DF Kelley O'Hara, FW Christen Press and DF Becky Sauerbrunn will play their final match with the Stars and Stripes in the States against Mexico on Sunday, May 26 prior to heading over to France for the Women's World Cup. Kickoff is set for 10:00 a.m. MT.

In their last match, Royals FC finished with a 1-1 draw against the defending NWSL Champions, the North Carolina Courage. FW Amy Rodriguez once again scored Utah's lone goal in the 8th minute with an assist from MF Vero Boquete, marking her third goal in three-consecutive matches.

URFC enters the match with a 1-1-2 (5 points) all-time record against Orlando, most recently defeating them 1-0 at Orlando City Stadium on April 27, behind a goal from Press and an assist from rookie DF Michelle Maemone.
