Utah Flash to Host Dance Auditions at APX Alarm Headquarters

OREM, UT, Aug. 18, 2010 - The Utah Flash announced today that they will hold their annual audition for the dance team on September 18, 2010. The auditions will be preceded by a two-day dance clinic hosted by former and current Utah Flash Dancers.
The audition and clinics will be held at the gym inside of the corporate headquarters of APX Alarm in Provo, Utah. The two clinics will be on Thursday and Friday September 16 and 17 from 6-9 p.m. The audition will be on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
The clinics will be taught by members of the current dance team and will help dance hopefuls learn and understand what will be expected of them at the audition and throughout the year.
"Dancing for the Flash has been extremely enjoyable for the past few years," said Dance Captain Tami Whatcott. "The girls are really close and the organization is great. We discover new talent every year, which is why the auditions are so fun."
The Dancers will be expected to perform at all 24 Flash home games this season. In addition to their on-the-floor performances, dancers will also be ambassadors to the community, visiting non-profit organizations and schools throughout the valley.
The APX Alarm corporate headquarters are located at 4907 North 300 West in the Riverbottoms of Provo. Fees for the clinics will be $15 per clinic or both for $25. Those who attend one pre-audition dance clinic will have their tryout fee waved. Those who do not attend a dance clinic will be charged a $20 judging fee.
