
Utah Flash Name Kevin Young as Head Coach

OREM, UT - September 7, 2010 - The Utah Flash introduced Kevin Young as its new head coach for the 2010-11 season. Young has been a vital part of the Utah Flash staff since the teams' inception in 2007 and adds a wealth of basketball knowledge to the organization.
"We are very excited to have Kevin take charge of this team and lead us through the 2010-11 season," said Team President Drew Sellers. "Kevin has proven himself worthy to join the head coaching ranks."
Young has filled various roles within the Flash organization including assistant coach, scout, and director of basketball operations. He has participated in on-court coaching, player development, and has been an important aspect of player personnel decisions for the Utah Flash in its first three seasons.
In addition to his time with the Flash, Young has spent time overseas as a head coach in Ireland, Estonia, and China. He is a graduate of Clayton State University where he is a top ten record holder in several statistical categories as a player.
Young will assume the head coaching role for the Flash immediately and will look to fill vacancies in the assistant coaching position as well as put together a competitive roster for the 2010-11 season.
