Utah Flash News Release
PROVO, October 17, 2009 - The Flash Fox, in an effort to surpass previous stunts such as skydiving and wakeboarding, has moved his fox den to a south-bound I-15 billboard. The Fox took residence on the billboard Friday and refuses to come down until 500 additional Utah Flash season tickets are sold.
The Fox's most recent stunt will be chronicled 24 hours a day through a live uStream broadcast and chat. The Fox will also use social media tools such as Twitter and Facebook in an effort to reach the 500 ticket goal.
Visitors are welcome to visit the Fox, whose billboard is located at 360 West 200 South in American Fork, Utah. Previous visitors have been rewarded with Flash merchandise and a special message from the Fox himself. Past visitors include local and state officials, as well as local celebrities.
Other mascots throughout the state are expected to visit the Fox in his greatest stunt to date. The Fox is also expecting a large crowd of visitors Monday evening where friends and fans will demonstrate their support of the Fox and his impressive goal with a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m.
This is the first time a mascot has taken up temporary residence on a billboard. The Fox will not come down under any circumstances or for any reason until an additional 500 Utah Flash season tickets are sold.
