
USO Street Hockey Challenge Is Tomorrow

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Corpus Christi IceRays and CPL Retail Energy want to remind everyone to come out to the American Bank Center on the waterfront side (N. Shoreline Blvd) as they host the USO Street Hockey Challenge to benefit the USO of South Texas tomorrow 12-2PM.
The Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard will battle in a round robin tournament! Come out to this great event to earn FREE IceRays tickets to the March 29th game against the Odessa Jackalopes.
"It's always a pleasure to partner up with CPL Retail Energy as they always sponsor some great events," said IceRays general manager Pat Dunn. "We are excited to be part of both the USO Food Drive & Street Hockey Challenge. I am sure that this will be a success just like any other events that we do with CPL."
For every THREE dry goods items donated you will receive a FREE IceRays ticket to the March 29th game with proceeds going to the USO of South Texas!!
"The USO lifts the spirits of our active-duty military and their families at home in South Texas and beyond. This is our mission which changes to meet the needs of our United States Military... especially as we enter this phase of sequestration," explained Nancy Allen, USO South Texas President and CEO. "Building our community relationships for the military with organizations like the Ice Rays and CPL Retail Energy is a wonderful opportunity to get the whole family involved, to bring a touch of home to our local armed services."
For more than seventy-five years, CPL Retail Energy, the official electricity provider of the Corpus Christi IceRays (a Direct Energy company) has proudly served the families and businesses of this community.
