USL League One Announces New In-Season Cup Competition

Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC News Release


WINDSOR, Colo. - USL League One announced the introduction of a new in-season cup competition for 2024.

The yet-to-be-named cup competition will begin with group play before proceeding to single-elimination semifinals and final.

Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC will be in a group with Central Valley Fuego FC, Spokane Velocity FC, and Union Omaha for the group stage and will also play crossover matches against One Knoxville SC and Charlotte Independence.

Hailstorm will begin their in-season cup competition against Union Omaha on May 1 and the club's home opener on May 25 against Charlotte Independence will also be a cup game.
