
USHL Breaks Draft Day Record

Bloomington Thunder News Release
With 37 players selected who spent time in the USHL during the 2014-15 season, the League has broken its own record for most skaters drafted for seven consecutive seasons. In addition, ten USHL alumni were drafted including 2nd overall selection Jack Eichel. First round selections included Kyle Connor, Colin White, Brock Boeser and Jack Roslovic.
Almost all of these players suited up against Bloomington during the 2014-15 season and 29 drafted in 2015 played in Bloomington, IL at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum during 25 of the Thunder's 30 home games. The other five games housed players already drafted by NHL clubs, future draft picks, and dozens of NCAA Division I caliber players.
