USC Gamecocks to Play Fall World Series Game 4 at Lexington County Baseball Stadium

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC- Officials from the Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission, in cooperation with Shanahan & Company Sports Management along with USC Gamecocks Head Baseball Coach Chad Holbrook announced today that the University of South Carolina Gamecocks Fall World Series Garnet and Black game 4 will be played at the Lexington County Baseball Stadium. This exciting event will take place Thursday November 5th at 7:05pm. Gates will open at 5:30pm. All tickets are $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the Salvation of the Army of the Midlands to assist in their flood relief efforts.
"Lexington County loves baseball and we hope they will be able to make it out next week to see us play and help those affected by the terrible floods that struck our community last month," said South Carolina head coach Chad Holbrook. "I can't thank Bill Shanahan, Tommy Frazier and all of Lexington County enough for their time and efforts to help put this together and we hope we will have a great crowd next Thursday and a lot of our fans can get a glimpse of the 2016 team."
Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission Executive Director Randy Gibson stated, "This is a great opportunity for Gamecock fans to experience Lexington County Baseball Stadium as well as help the Salvation Army of the Midlands by donating all ticket proceeds to assist in their flood relief efforts. This new ballpark was designed to provide year round sports and entertainment events like this for all who live in Lexington County. We would like to thank USC for giving us the opportunity to host one of the Garnet & Black games."
Tickets go on sale Friday October 30, at 1pm. For Tickets call 803-254-3474 or stop by 101 East Main St in Lexington to purchase tickets. Office hours are Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
