Friday, December 11th - RiverKings travel to Bossier-Shreveport at 7:05 PM. Voice of the RiverKings Bob Bakken brings the coverage at 6:50 PM on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM and on CHL-TV.

Saturday, December 12th - RiverKings host Bossier-Shreveport at 7:05 PM. Friends of the NRA Night. Special night jerseys and a post-game jersey auction and post-game skate to follow the game. Broadcast coverage the Voice of the RiverKings Bob Bakken is on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM and on CHL-TV.

Sunday, December 13th - RiverKings players will assist members of the King's Court Booster Club for a visit to the Farrow Manor Children's Home.

Tuesday, December 15th - RiverKings players will be feted at the King's Court Booster Club Christmas Party at Old Style BBQ in Olive Branch at 6:30 PM.

Wednesday, December 16th - Members of the RiverKings will appear at Wiseguys Pizza, Highway 51 North in Horn Lake from 5-7 PM. Come enjoy great Chicago-style pizza and talk with the RiverKings about the season.

BUY A PIECE OF A CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON FOR A GREAT CAUSE

RiverKings forward Louis Dumont is auctioning off his game-worn jersey from last season's CHL Northeast Division championship campaign. He is doing it to help raise money to help defray the medical expenses of his friend and former teammate, Rob Weingartner, who is undergoing treatment for colon cancer. You can help in the effort and help one of hockey's own by submitting you bid on Ebay here. The bidding will end on December 17th.

VOTE FOR DUMONT FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK

Online voting is underway to determine the CHL Performance of the Week for the week of games ending Sunday, December 6th. Louis Dumont's four-goal performance in the final period of last Friday's 6-3 victory over the Colorado Eagles is one of the nominees for the award. You can vote for Louis Dumont on the CHL league web site before the voting ends early next week.

RIVERKINGS ON THE RADIO

RiverKings media coordinator Bob Bakken helps keep you up to date on your RiverKings and hockey in the Mid-South each week during the regular season. In addition to play-by-play coverage each game out on Sports 56 WHBQ-AM and 96.1 FM "The Pig," WIVG-FM, the team is showcased on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM each Monday night from 7-8 PM for the weekly coach's show. The program is aired live from the Southaven O'Charley's Restaurant, on Goodman Road east of I-55. Each Wednesday night, the RiverKings and hockey are talked about on 730 Fox Sports, KQPN-AM on Bob Bakken's RiverKings Report from 6-7 PM, broadcast from the station studios on Beale Street. Catch the RiverKings on Radio all season long.
