Schaumburg Flyers News Release
The Schaumburg Flyers begin a six game home stand on Friday, June 11 at Alexian Field. The game will feature a post game fireworks display as the Flyers team up with Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions to light up the sky. Friday will also be A-Team night with many A-Team prizes courtesy of "The Big One" WBIG 1280 as the Flyers pay tribute to the action-adventure television series of the 1980's and recognize the release of the new movie.
On Saturday, the Flyers will have a tribute to scrubs and will be recognizing the great service of doctors, nurses, and other medical staffs while playing off the hit television series as well. After the game, the post game party presented by Miller Lite will be held in the Schaumburg club as the band One 2 Many will be playing live to get the party started.
Sundays are family days at Alexian Field where kids can run the bases after the game and stick around for autographs on the field from their favorite players. This Sunday is also Dog Day at the park, where fans are allowed to bring their dogs out for some bark in the park activities and fun including a pregame parade on the field.
Monday's game will feature $1 hot dogs courtesy of Red Hot Chicago and $2 beef sandwiches brought to you by That's Pats Italian Beef. Additionally, the game on Monday is good grades and perfect attendance day at Alexian Field. The Flyers are rewarding hard working students who have earned A's and B's on their report cards or who have perfect attendance to bring their report card to the ticket office for $5 tickets to the game.
Tuesday's game is another $2 Tuesday this month with $2 Miller Products and $2 Pepsi products on sale at Alexian Field. The Hangar gift shop will also feature a merchandise item on sale for only $2. Plus, if you buy one reserved ticket to the game, the next ticket is only $2 with the mention of the promotion on the day of the game. Tuesday's game will also recognize the men and women who help keep our neighborhoods safe for Police appreciation day.
The final game of the home stand will be on giveaway Wednesday as all fans will receive rally towels upon their entrance into the stadium courtesy of GEICO. Wednesday is also Boy Scout Day at Alexian Field.
ANDRE DAWSON & FRIENDS CELEBRITY SOFTBALL EVENT
In addition to all the fun planned for this home-stand, don't forget about the Andre Dawson & Friends Celebrity Softball event coming to Alexian Field on July 28th. The Flyers will play the Joliet Jackhammers at 4:30 and the celebrity softball game will immediately follow. Come celebrate Andre Dawson's induction into the hall of fame with him and the likes of Bruce Sutter, Bill Buckner, Gary Sheffield, and many more! The event will feature free autographs for fans and a free commemorative giveaway for every fan.
