
United Waive Goalkeeper Steve Clark

D.C. United News Release
D.C. United have announced that Steve Clark will depart the club after being placed on waivers on Aug. 16. He was selected by Portland Timbers FC in the Western Conference.
"We want to thank Steve for his commitment and service to the club," Dave Kasper, United general manager and VP of soccer operations, said. "We wish Steve the best of luck in his next chapter in Portland."
Clark signed with the Black-and-Red as a free agent on Aug. 17, 2017. He made his debut and recorded his first shutout for the club on Sept. 23, 2017 in a 4-0 win against San Jose at RFK Stadium. Clark made eight MLS appearances for United and recorded 29 saves.
