5 Things You Need to Know about #FCDvMIN

Snap the Streak

FC Dallas has lost two straight matches, the first time this season the club has dropped back-to-back games. The last time Dallas lost more than two matches in a row was during the 2016 season when it lost three straight matches from April 23-May 7. FCD wound up winning the Supporters' Shield that season for the most points accrued during the regular season.

Matt Hedges Going for 200

With his next appearance, defender Matt Hedges will play in his 200th MLS match. When he does that, he will become just the third FC Dallas player in history to reach that milestone. Hedges has missed just 21 games since he made his first MLS start on May 9, 2012 during his rookie season. In the 23-year history of MLS, only 144 players have reached the 200-game mark. Only 49 have done so with a single club.

Oscar Pareja Going for 100

FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja's next victory will be his 100th as an MLS head coach. He had 25 MLS career wins as the head coach of the Colorado Rapids in 2012 and 2013. He currently has 74 career wins as Dallas' head coach since assuming the role in 2014. Pareja would become the third fastest coach to reach 100 MLS victories and just the ninth to hit the century mark.

Going for 200 at Home

FC Dallas' next win at Toyota Stadium will be its 200th at home. Dallas has played at Toyota Stadium since August 6, 2005 and holds a 118-40-58 record in Frisco. FCD began league play in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and holds a 76-42-11 record in Fair Park, playing there from 1996-2005 and for one game in 2009. FC Dallas played at Carroll ISD's Dragon Stadium in Southlake in 2003, posting a 5-8-2 record.

About Minnesota United

Minnesota United ended a two game losing streak by playing to a 2-2 draw against the Galaxy at StubHub Center last Saturday. Minnesota is 1-9-1 on the road in 2018 and 8-4-1 at home.
