Undertakers blow by All-Stars
October 18, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Houston Takers News Release
Houston, TX. The ABA Houston Undertakers took on the Houston All-Stars for their fifth pre-season game and came out on top 177-110 after a slow start. Never trailing, the Undertakers, led by Jai Pradia's 27 points and 13 rebounds, only led by 12 points after the first quarter and never looked back.
Coach Carr stated that everyone on his 12 man roster scored at least 15 points and he is excited about the upcoming year. The owner, Larry Leonard, showed his support to the community once again not charging the fans anything for their fifth pre-season game. "I'm excited about the players we have and the system that coach Carr is implementing to and through the guys. It's going to be a nice year for us, I can just feel it in the air," said Leonard. Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
