RazorSharks Sign Radio Deal

Rochester RazorSharks News Release


(Rochester, N.Y.)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks and Clear Channel Radio announced today that Rochester's professional basketball will return to WHTK AM-1280 to broadcast all 18 home games from The Blue Cross Arena in downtown Rochester. Fourteen games will be broadcast live on WHTK AM-1280, with four games tape delayed until later that same evening.

Gene Battaglia will again handle the play-by-play for the RazorSharks from courtside. The veteran broadcaster has called Fordham University and Roberts Wesleyan college basketball games and Rochester Rattlers professional lacrosse games. Syracuse University basketball great Roosevelt Bouie also returns behind the microphone to offer his expert analysis and behind the scenes insight.

The RazorSharks open their second season of ABA action at home on Thursday, November 16 at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena against the Buffalo Silverbacks. Individual game tickets are on sale at The Blue Cross Arena Box office, all TicketMaster locations and via www.ticketmaster.com.
