
U.S. Men's National Under-18 Team Set for Five Nations Tournament

PLYMOUTH, Mich.- The U.S. Men's National Under-18 Team is set to compete in the 2017 Under-18 Five Nations Tournament beginning Wednesday, Nov. 8 , Finland.
The U.S. roster includes 20 full-time members of the 2017-18 U.S. National Under-18 Team, part of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program based in Plymouth, Michigan.
Non-NTDP roster players include forwards Ryder Donovan (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East H.S.) and Philippe Lapointe (Hinsdale, Ill./Lincoln Stars).

The U.S. will open play on Wednesday (Nov. 8) in a 9 a.m. ET matchup against Switzerland.

The Under-18 Five Nations and Four Nations tournaments are generally held twice a season. The U.S. has placed first in at least one of the two yearly events dating back to the 2007-08 season. Last year, the U.S. won both tournaments.
