Manchester Wolves News Release
MANCHESTER, N.H. (May 25, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves' fans were not too happy about the team's recent 52-49 home loss to Birmingham, but two lucky Wolves ticket holders felt a little better when they found out they had just won an all-inclusive, one-night trip to Boston.
True to their word, the Wolves and Quality Insulation of Nashua owner Jeff Benson backed up Coach Rik Richards' guaranteed win. Therefore, after Friday night's heartbreaking loss, the Wolves randomly selected Manchester residents Brian McCawley and Melodie Frazer as the winners of the exclusive Boston getaway.
The trip includes limousine transportation provided by Spiderbite, dinner for each winner and a guest at a four-star restaurant, hotel lodging, and two tickets each for a Red Sox game.
"The team gave a great effort this past weekend and almost made Rik's prediction come true," Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella said. "Unfortunately, we came up a little short. If anything makes the pain of the loss a little easier to take, it's that we're treating two great fans of ours to a special night out in Boston."
Quality Insulation, a division of the Masco Company, provides the areas building contractors and homeowners with a full line of insulation products along with foundation waterproofing, gas and wood fireplaces, gutters and downspouts, closet shelving, custom mirrors and bath accessories. With offices in Nashua, Meredith, Portsmouth, NH, Yarmouth, ME and Milford, MA, Quality Insulation, established in 1982, installs, warranties and services all the products it sells.
Fans are invited to join the Wolves for their next home game this Friday, May 28 against the Green Bay Blizzard at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Kick-off for this event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the first 2,500 fans through the doors will receive a FREE "Defense" sign, courtesy of ADT.
