Washington Stealth News Release

Everett, Wash. - The National Lacrosse League announced the complete rosters for the 2012 NLL All-Star Game, which is slated for February 25 at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY. Two members of the Washington Stealth were named reserves on the West All-Star Team; forward Rhys Duch and transition player Paul Rabil.

A two-time NLL All-Pro, Duch leads the Stealth offensive attack in 2012 with nine goals and eleven assists for 20 points in four games played so far this season. The Stealth got off to a slow start this season, losing its first three games, but last week picked up a big win in Buffalo due in large part to the eight-point (4g, 4a) outing from Duch, which included the game-winning goal in overtime. Duch will be appearing in the NLL All-Star Game for the second time in his four-year NLL career.

"It's always an honor to be recognized for your play," said Duch of making the West All-Star team. "Playing alongside some of the greatest athletes in our sport is always a humbling experience and I look forward to representing the Stealth in Buffalo."

Joining Duch on the West All-Stars will be transition player Paul Rabil, who is also appearing in his second straight NLL All-Star Game. Rabil has notched a goal in three of the Stealth's four games so far, and has added five assists and 25 loose balls. Last week against the Buffalo Bandits, Rabil tallied a season high three points on a goal and two assists and added six loose balls.

Washington Stealth Head Coach Chris Hall will serve as head coach of the West team. Hall, who was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his right tonsil prior to the start of the 2012 season, has yet to join the team on the bench this season. After a six-week treatment, Hall is currently in recovery and anticipates a return to the Stealth bench prior to the All-Star Game.

The 2012 NLL All-Star Game takes place on Saturday, February 25 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, home of the Buffalo Bandits. Gametime is 7pm Eastern. Tickets can be ordered by clicking here . Fans can watch the game on ESPN3 in the US and The NLL Network at NLL.com in Canada and worldwide.
