
Colin Doyle Among 5 Rock All-Stars

Toronto - The defending NLL Champion Toronto Rock had five players named as reserves for the East All-Stars today. This year's All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, February 25th at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York.
The Rock will have three forwards, one defender and a goaltender represent the club. Up front Colin Doyle, Josh Sanderson and Garrett Billings make up the list of forwards. Defender Sandy Chapman and Goaltender Matt Roik round out the Toronto selections.
For Doyle it's his record 10th NLL All-Star Game appearance. Buffalo's John Tavares has also appeared in ten All-Star Games and will be a starter for this year's showcase of the league's best. Sanderson will make his 7th All-Star Game appearance while Roik, Chapman and Billings will each play in their second game.
Earlier the league announced that Toronto Rock head coach Troy Cordingley will serve as head coach of the East team, assisted by Buffalo Bandits head coach Darris Kilgour. Washington Stealth head coach Chris Hall will serve as head coach of the West team, assisted by Edmonton Rush head coach Derek Keenan.
